1. NF-MK8 nozzle has all the functions similar to MK8 nozzle, compatible with MK8/CR10 heating block, thread is M6, using advanced production technology, you receive the artwork. The product is produced using original high-precision Japanese equipment. Each nozzle aperture is made using a separate model, which is more standard and less error-prone than other companies' products.
2. Copper-plated nozzles are the idea of NF in 2016. Due to production process problems, there has been no way to formally mass production. In order to follow the consistently high standard production process, NF has only officially launched copper-plated nozzles to meet many NF fans. Thanks to the support of fans all the time, we will continue to improve the quality and continue to launch more perfect products.
Plated Copper-Alloy Nozzle
These nozzles are engineered for ultimate high temperature performance. Made from a special high temperature copper-alloy with a softening point of well above 500C (compared to aluminium nozzles which begin to lose integrity beyond 350°C), and much-increased thermal conductivity these copper nozzles are perfect for high temperature applications while working perfectly with everyday filaments like PLA, ABS and spoolWorks EDGE. In addition to high temperature performance these nozzles have an advanced nickel based plating, this plating considerably reduces the adhesion of plastic to the block. This is great for everyday filaments keeping things clean and shiny, but is particularly important at temperatures above 300°C where a silicone sock can't be used. Use these nozzles with our plated Brass blocks for the ultimate extrusion pairing!
Why Copper?
Copper has more than 3x the thermal conductivity of brass, and the copper alloy has been plated to eliminate the oxidation that occurs in copper at high temperatures. A small side effect is that the copper's high thermal mass will also increase heat-up times, but will provide a tighter temperature control. This copper-alloy is very temperature resilient, and will not start to soften or anneal until way beyond 500°C. It's perfect for the high-temperature printing that aluminium heater blocks can't handle.
