This is our meticulously designed DIY 2.85MDM-Material Detection Module, specifically developed for 3D printers, featuring the following key functions:
Filament Break Detection: Precisely monitors the filament status using a photoelectric switch, enabling real-time breakage alerts and pausing the print.
Clogging and Tangling Detection: During the printing process, the encoder works dynamically with the photoelectric switch to intelligently identify nozzle clogs or spool tangles, promptly triggering a pause.

Notice:
We currently offer a variety of encoder models, allowing customers to select the most appropriate option based on their print speed and needs. By default, printable parts are provided with a 3.7mm resolution encoder to minimize false triggering at flow rates of 50 mm3/s.
This flexibility solves the problem of signal loss that can occur when Klipper processes encoder signals at too high a frequency, ensuring reliable performance under a variety of conditions.
You can choose an encoder with a longer detection length according to your needs, such as 7.3MM/12.15MM
